Anthony Pastrana is in his 22nd season with the Titans, including his first as Director of Football Technology, in 2019. He spent the previous 19 seasons as the team's video director.
As video director, his primary responsibilities included compiling and editing all game and practice tapes for coaches' analysis, cataloging NFL game tapes and producing "cut-ups." He also managed all video equipment and design of the Titans' video department, including implementing the team's state-of-the art digital editing system.
Pastrana attended the University of Texas-El Paso, where he also served for two years as video coordinator for the football team.
In 1997, he joined the then Tennessee Oilers as the Assistant Video Director. In 1999, Pastrana accepted a position with Avid Sports. He rejoined the NFL prior to the 1999 season, working in the league office as Video Coordinator of the Officiating Department. Pastrana spent two seasons at the league office before taking over the Video Department for the Titans in 2001.
